This is a stylish, elliptical steel hitch member made by the lost-wax (precision casting) method.
The member section and mounting brackets are baked-painted, the hitch ball is chrome-plated, and the detachable pin is unichrome-plated.
The ball mount is made of matte stainless steel with an O-ring to reduce rattling.
