Our own development! Equipped with HONDEX ClearChirp™ Fish Finder!

Conventional fish finders transmit sound waves into the sea at a single frequency and display the received signals as images.
In contrast, the chirp method transmits sound waves while gradually changing the frequency and processes the received signals specially to display images.
This significantly improves resolution, enabling clear imaging of fish.

Moreover, to realize this chirp technology, a dedicated broadband transducer capable of outputting signals over a wide frequency range is required.
By developing both the main unit and the transducer in-house, we can achieve optimal settings and produce detailed images.

Broadband Transducer for ClearChirp™ Fish Finder

The broadband transducers for ClearChirp™ are available from TD320/TD340/TD361/TD380.
The frequencies are 90kHz to 140kHz for mid-chirp, 38kHz to 70kHz for low-chirp, and 130kHz to 220kHz for high-chirp.

HDX_TD

The HDX-12C also features a wideband mode! You can select the frequency.

In wideband mode, by connecting a broadband transducer, you can select frequencies in 5kHz steps for low frequencies and 10kHz steps for mid and high frequencies. By selecting and changing the optimal frequency according to the fishing ground and fish species, it is also effective in reducing interference and noise from other boats' fish finders.

Highlights the seabed boundary with a white line.
The display level can be set, allowing you to adjust how the seabed appears according to the fishing ground and target.

The HDX-12C is equipped with various functions unique to HONDEX fishfinders.

Fish Size Display

In the digital series, we have added a size display to the popular fish character function.
You can determine the size from 1 to 99, and we have adopted a one-touch "display/hide" function and a two-screen display with the normal screen so that you can instantly check the reaction and other details on the actual image.
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.
*The numerical values of the size display may have errors due to various factors. Please consider them as reference values only.

Fish Depth Display

We have added a display of the height from the seabed and the depth from the sea surface (unit: m) to the fish character display.
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.

Same Frequency Dual Screen Display

You can split the fishfinder image of the same frequency into two screens and adjust the sensitivity of each.
By comparing the two screens, you can set the optimal sensitivity.

Full Screen Sensitivity Adjustment

In previous fish finders, sensitivity changed from the moment it was adjusted, but with digital fish finders, it is now possible to change the sensitivity on the screen (past records).
With this feature, you can adjust the sensitivity while viewing the entire screen (past records), allowing even beginners to manually set up clear images.

Bright screen with wide viewing angle & bonded LCD

The display has a very high resolution of 800 x 600 dots, allowing for clear viewing of fine details and text.
In addition, the use of a high-brightness LCD (1000 candelas) ensures excellent visibility even in bright conditions such as direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the bonded LCD improves visibility and prevents condensation.

Built-in GPS antenna, compatible with monitor connection system

The HDX-12C has a built-in GPS antenna. *Reception may not be possible depending on the mounting location and method when using the built-in antenna.
The HDX-12C can also be connected to a monitor (no modification costs required), allowing the same screen to be displayed at a remote location on the ship.
