Our Own Development! Equipped with HONDEX ClearChirp™ Fish Finder!

Conventional fish finders emit sound waves into the sea at a single frequency and display the received signals as images.
In contrast, the chirp method emits sound waves while gradually changing the frequency and processes the received signals specially to display images.
This significantly improves resolution and allows fish to be clearly displayed.

Furthermore, to realize this chirp technology, a dedicated wideband transducer capable of outputting signals over a wide frequency range is required.
By developing both the main unit and the transducer in-house, we are able to achieve optimal settings and realize precise images.

Wideband Transducer for ClearChirp™ Fish Finder

The wideband transducer for ClearChirp™ is available in TD320/TD340/TD361/TD380.
The frequencies are 90kHz to 140kHz for mid-chirp, 38kHz to 70kHz for low-chirp, and 130kHz to 220kHz for high-chirp.

The HDX-12C also features Wideband Mode! You can select the frequency.

In wideband mode, by connecting a wideband transducer, frequencies can be selected in 5kHz steps for low, and 10kHz steps for mid and high. Selecting and changing the optimal frequency according to the fishing ground and fish species is also effective in reducing interference and noise from other vessels' fish finders.

USB port for data saving

The main unit is equipped with a USB port, so you can transfer and save mark data and images from the main unit to a commercially available USB memory (32GB or less) without the need for an optional memory card.

Main fishfinder functions of HDX-12C

The HDX-12C is equipped with a variety of functions unique to HONDEX fishfinders.

Fish size display

In the digital series, we have added a size display to the popular fish character function.
You can determine the size from 1 to 99, and to instantly confirm reactions on the actual image, we have adopted a one-touch "display/hide" function and a two-screen display with the normal screen.
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.
*The numerical values of the size display may have errors due to various factors. Please consider them as reference values only.

Fish depth display

The fish character display now includes the height from the seabed and the depth from the sea surface (unit: m).
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.

Same frequency two-screen display

The fishfinder image of the same frequency can be split and displayed on two screens, and the sensitivity of each can be adjusted.
By comparing the two screens, you can set the optimal sensitivity.

Full screen sensitivity adjustment

With previous fish finders, sensitivity changed from the moment it was adjusted, but with digital fish finders, sensitivity on the screen (past records) can now be changed.
This function allows sensitivity to be adjusted while viewing the entire screen (past records), enabling even beginners to manually set clear images.

Bright screen with wide viewing angle & bonded LCD adopted

The display boasts a high resolution of 800x600 dots, ensuring fine details and text are clearly visible.
Furthermore, the adoption of a high-brightness LCD (1000 candelas) provides excellent visibility even in bright conditions such as direct sunlight.
The bonded LCD further enhances visibility and prevents condensation.

Built-in GPS antenna, monitor connection system compatible

The HDX-12C has a built-in GPS antenna. *When using the built-in antenna, reception may not be possible depending on the mounting location and method.
Additionally, the HDX-12C can be connected to a monitor (no modification costs required), allowing the same screen to be displayed in a remote location on the vessel.
