Conventional fish finders transmit sound waves into the sea at a single frequency and display the received signals as images.
In contrast, the chirp method transmits sound waves while gradually changing the frequency and processes the received signals specially to display images.
This significantly improves resolution and enables clear imaging of fish.

Furthermore, to implement this chirp technology, a dedicated wideband transducer capable of transmitting signals over a broad frequency range is required. By developing both the main unit and the transducer in-house, we are able to achieve optimal settings, resulting in highly detailed images.

Wideband transducer compatible with ClearChirp™ fish finder

You can choose from TD320/TD340/TD361/TD380 for ClearChirp™ wideband transducers.
The frequencies are 90kHz–140kHz for mid-chirp, 38kHz–70kHz for low-chirp, and 130kHz–220kHz for high-chirp.

The HDX-10C also features wideband mode! You can select the frequency.

In wideband mode, by connecting a wideband transducer, you can select frequencies in 5kHz steps for low, and 10kHz steps for mid and high. By selecting and changing the optimal frequency according to the fishing ground and fish species, it is also effective in reducing interference and noise from other boats' fish finders.

Emphasizes the boundary of the seabed with a white line.
The display level is adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune how the seabed appears according to the fishing spot and target fish.

Large Memory Capacity

Compared to conventional models, the new model has a large memory capacity for tracks and marks.

Data can be saved with a USB port

The unit is equipped with a USB port, so you can transfer and save mark data and images from the unit to a commercially available USB memory stick (32GB or less) without the need for an optional memory card.

*USB memory stick is not included.
*The HDX-10C is equipped with a USB (Type-C) port. To connect it to your existing USB memory stick (Type-A), please connect the included USB memory stick Type-C conversion cable to the unit.
*The USB memory stick that can be used with the HDX-10C is limited to 32GB. We do not guarantee the operation of all USB memory sticks. Some types may not operate normally.

Main Functions of HDX-10C

The HDX-10C is equipped with a variety of functions unique to HONDEX fishfinders.

● Fish Size Display
The digital series now includes a size display feature for the popular fish character function.
You can determine the size from 1 to 99, and to instantly check reactions with actual footage, a "Show/Hide"
one-touch function and a dual-screen display with the regular screen have been adopted.
* This function is only valid in fish mark mode. Also, it can be used within a 100m range.
* The numerical values of the size display may have errors due to various factors. Please consider them as reference values only.

● Fish Depth Display
The fish character display now includes the height from the seabed and the depth from the sea surface (unit: m).
* This function is only valid in fish mark mode. Also, it can be used within a 100m range.
* The numerical values of the depth display may have errors due to various factors. Please consider them as reference values only.

● Same Frequency Dual-Screen Display
The fish finder image of the same frequency can be split and displayed on two screens, and the sensitivity of each can be adjusted.
By comparing the two screens, you can set the optimal sensitivity.

● Full Screen Sensitivity Adjustment
With conventional fish finders, changing the sensitivity meant it would change from that point onwards, but with digital fish finders,
it is now possible to change the sensitivity on the screen (past records).
With this function, you can adjust the sensitivity while looking at the entire screen (past records),
allowing even beginners to manually set up a clear image.

Bright screen with wide viewing angle & Bonding LCD adopted

The display has a very high resolution of 800x600 dots, making even subtle reactions and text clear.
In addition, the adoption of a high-brightness LCD (1000 candelas) ensures excellent visibility even in bright places such as direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the adoption of a bonding LCD improves LCD visibility and prevents condensation.

Built-in GPS antenna, compatible with monitor connection system

The HDX-10C has a built-in GPS antenna. *When using the built-in antenna, reception may not be possible depending on the installation location and method.
Additionally, the HDX-10C can be connected to a monitor (no modification costs required!) allowing the same screen to be displayed in remote locations on the boat.
