Developed In-house! Equipped with HONDEX ClearChirp™ Fish Finder!

Conventional fish finders transmit sound waves into the sea at a single frequency and display the received signals as images.
In contrast, the chirp method transmits sound waves while gradually changing the frequency and processes the received signals specially to display images.
This significantly improves resolution and allows fish to be displayed more clearly.

To realize this chirp technology, a dedicated wideband transducer capable of transmitting signals over a wide frequency range is required.
By developing both the main unit and the transducer in-house, we are able to achieve optimal settings and deliver precise images.

Wideband Transducers Compatible with ClearChirp™ Fish Finder

You can choose from TD320/TD340/TD361/TD380 for ClearChirp™ wideband transducers.
The frequencies are 90kHz to 140kHz for mid-chirp, 38kHz to 70kHz for low-chirp, and 130kHz to 220kHz for high-chirp.

HDX-12C Also Features Wideband Mode! You can select the frequency.

In wideband mode, by connecting a wideband transducer, you can select frequencies in 5kHz steps for low, and 10kHz steps for mid and high. Selecting and changing the optimal frequency according to the fishing ground and fish species is also effective in reducing interference and noise from other vessels' fish finders.

The main unit is equipped with a USB port, so you can move and save mark data and images from the main unit to a commercially available USB memory (32GB or less) without the need for an optional memory card.

The HDX-12C is equipped with a variety of functions unique to HONDEX fishfinders.

Fish Size Display

The digital series now includes a size display feature for the popular fish character function.
You can determine the size from 1 to 99, and also use a one-touch "display/hide" function and a two-screen display with the normal screen to instantly check reactions in actual images.
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.
*The numerical values for size display may have errors due to various factors. Please consider them as reference values only.

Fish Depth Display

The fish character display now includes the height from the seabed and the depth from the sea surface (unit: m).
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.

Same Frequency Two-Screen Display

The fishfinder images of the same frequency can be divided into two screens, and the sensitivity of each can be adjusted.
By comparing the two screens, you can set the optimal sensitivity.

Full Screen Sensitivity Adjustment

With previous fish finders, changing the sensitivity would take effect from that point on, but with digital fish finders, it is now possible to change the sensitivity on the screen (past records).
With this feature, you can adjust the sensitivity while viewing the entire screen (past records), allowing even beginners to manually set up clear images.

Bright screen with wide viewing angle & bonded LCD adopted

The display has a very high resolution of 800x600 dots, so even small reactions and characters are clearly visible.
In addition, the adoption of a high-brightness LCD (1000 candela) ensures excellent visibility even in bright places such as direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the bonded LCD improves visibility and prevents condensation.

Built-in GPS antenna, compatible with monitor connection system

The HDX-12C has a built-in GPS antenna. *When using the built-in antenna, reception may not be possible depending on the installation location and method.
In addition, the HDX-12C can be connected to a monitor (no modification cost required), allowing the same screen to be displayed in a remote location on the ship.
