Our original development! Equipped with HONDEX Clear CHIRP™ fish finder!

Conventional fish finders output sound waves into the sea at a single frequency and display the received signals as images.
In contrast, the CHIRP method outputs sound waves while gradually changing the frequency and processes the received signals specially to display images.
This significantly improves resolution and allows for clearer imaging of fish.

In addition, to realize this CHIRP technology, a dedicated wideband transducer capable of outputting signals over a wide frequency range is required.
By developing both the main unit and the transducer in-house, we are able to achieve optimal settings and realize precise images.

Wideband Transducers Compatible with Clear CHIRP™ Fish Finders

You can choose from TD320/TD340/TD361/TD380 for Clear CHIRP™ wideband transducers.
The frequencies are 90kHz to 140kHz for Mid-CHIRP, 38kHz to 70kHz for Low-CHIRP, and 130kHz to 220kHz for High-CHIRP.

HDX_TD

HDX-12C also features wideband mode! You can select the frequency.

In wideband mode, by connecting a wideband transducer, you can select frequencies in 5kHz steps for low frequencies and 10kHz steps for mid and high frequencies. Selecting and changing the optimal frequency according to fishing grounds and target fish is also effective in reducing interference and noise from other vessels' fish finders.

Equipped with a USB port, you can move and save mark data and images from the unit to a commercially available USB memory stick (32GB or less) without the need for an optional memory card.

Main Fishfinder Functions of HDX-12C

The HDX-12C is equipped with a variety of functions unique to HONDEX fishfinders.

Fish Size Display

The digital series has added a size display to the popular fish character function.
You can determine the size from 1 to 99, and also quickly check reactions with actual images using the one-touch "display/hide" function and two-screen display with the normal screen.
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.
*The numerical value of the size display may vary due to various factors. Please consider it as a reference value only.

Fish Depth Display

The fish character display now includes the height from the seabed and the depth from the sea surface (unit: m).
*This function is only valid in fish mark mode. It can also be used within a 100m range.

Same Frequency Two-Screen Display

The fishfinder images of the same frequency can be split into two screens, and the sensitivity of each can be adjusted.
By comparing the two screens, you can set the optimal sensitivity.

Full Screen Sensitivity Adjustment

With previous fish finders, changing the sensitivity would take effect from that point forward, but with digital fish finders, it is now possible to change the sensitivity on the screen (past records).
With this feature, you can adjust the sensitivity while looking at the entire screen (past records), allowing even beginners to manually set up clear images.

Bright screen with wide viewing angle & bonded LCD

The display has a very high resolution of 800x600 dots, so even subtle reactions and characters are clearly visible.
In addition, the use of a high-brightness LCD (1000 candelas) provides excellent visibility in bright conditions such as direct sunlight.
Furthermore, the bonded LCD improves visibility and prevents condensation.

Built-in GPS antenna, compatible with monitor connection system

The HDX-12C has a built-in GPS antenna. *When using the built-in antenna, reception may not be possible depending on the mounting location and method.
In addition, the HDX-12C can be connected to a monitor (no modification cost required), allowing the same screen to be displayed in remote locations on the ship.
