Proper storage is important to slow down the deterioration of your wetsuit as much as possible.
The causes of rubber deterioration are "salt" and "direct sunlight," so store your wetsuit avoiding these two.
If you rinse it thoroughly to remove salt and dry it in a cool, shaded place, the deterioration speed should be reduced.
Also, when storing a wetsuit, if you fold it, the creases will become crushed and won't return to their original state. Store it hung on a hanger without folding it.
